Fishing lv 25 for lv 4 is the most boring thing in the world, just sitting there, right click, see a bubble, right click, over and over and over haha it makes me wanna rethink my life anyways serious though please either make it easier in terms of XP gained or just change it because it is so so so boring thanks :d
Work, Many of us did it. You need a good rod. Its a max. of 20 mins. to do it. and it has to be hard to get from a higher level to another one so chill.

If you get a lure 3 rod, fishing is quite easy. Pull Minecraft over to one side of your screen, and Youtube on the other side, that's what I did. That way you can watch youtube and see it

Best suggestion ever (although I haven't quite worked it out 100%).
A hardcore world (not actually hardcore).
A world where people may play with full pvp, raid, grief, no claims.
And if you die you cannot join again until the next month (hence the "Hardcore" aspect).

We were planning on setting up a factions server (or some type of server depending on the poll we take) as soon as we get enough donations.

Chain armor in the market, since its so rare.

A rising lava server would be cool, nobody did it on minecraft before, basically you use knockback shovels in an arena to get people killed in lava while it is rising one block every few seconds. the only survivor wins.

Here's another idea, Change the End World data with the overworld data or make a custom world with end stone instead of stone, here's how it looks:3lUWWEH.png you could make it an icy world, it would be cool. [The end will not generate new chunks so it will just be what you rendered] It will give the end more reason to be there. It keeps the biomes and it can even rain/snow! To do this first Render a world that you want the end to be, fly around to generate some chunks, then go to the world with the end, go to the end and render the island, go to the overworld, escape the map, then go to your world name and copy the "Region" folder and replace the Region folder in the "DIM1" folder doing this will overwrite the end chunks with the overworld's making the end a much better place.

Wouldn't that kind of ruin the point of the End, though? Especially with the changes that are being made in 1.9?

I am unaware of any 1.9 changes to the end... But if you did replace the end with a custom overworld with endstone and stuff like that you could still build those pillars and have an ender dragon.

Well, basically:

  • End cities are being added. These are huge structures on the mainland in the End with more on the islands, as well as End ships between landmasses in the End. These cities hold End-exclusive loot such as gliding wings.
  • The End will now have a new hostile mob, called the Shulker. They're basically cousins of the Silverfish with the exception that they attack from range and they don't move from the "block" they generate in, instead using that block as a protective shell from which they peep out of to attack the player.
  • The End will now hold its own naturally-generated "trees" and decorative blocks.
  • As you mentioned, the End will now allow for the Ender Dragon to be summoned. This requires Ender Crystals arranged around the naturally-generated End Portal that opens when the Ender Dragon is first slain. Once this is done, new Ender Crystals will appear on the original Pillars and the Ender Dragon must be slain the same way as it was the first time.

Basically, if we want the features of the End in our Survival world, I don't believe that scrapping the End itself in exchange for an overworld "map" is a good idea. Knowing how Minecraft works, there's who knows how many problems that could happen if we try to make our own version of the End in the Overworld.

All this being said, the End is part of vanilla Survival, i.e. the base game. While the idea of a custom End world is appealing, I am unsure if the extra effort to implement it would be worth it with all these new features coming.
